Ché (band)
Ché was an American Stoner metal, stoner rock band founded by former Kyuss drummers Brant Bjork and Alfredo Hernández, and former Unida bassist Dave Dinsmore. Ché released their only LP, ''Sounds of Liberation'', in 2000. Overview Though best known at the time of the album's release as a drummer, Ché featured Bjork as the band's vocalist and guitarist. Another of Bjork's bands, Brant Bjork and the Bros, covered many of Ché's songs during their live performances, with Alfredo Hernández making occasional guest appearances with the band. According to Bjork, he had been friends with Hernández and Dinsmore for years; they began playing together in the late 1990s after Hernández left Queens of the Stone Age. Quilapayún () are a folk music group from Chile and among the longest lasting and most influential ambassadors of the ''Nueva Canción Chilena'' movement and genre. Formed during the mid-1960s, the group became inseparable with the revolution that occurred in the popular music of the country under the Popular Unity Government of Salvador Allende. Since its formation and during its forty-year history both in Chile and during its lengthy period of exile in France the group has seen modifications to its personnel lineup and the subject and content of its work. Napa Junction (formerly, Adelante) is an unincorporated community in Napa County, California. It lies at an elevation of 79 feet (24 m). Napa Junction is located on the California Northern Railroad (Formerly the Southern Pacific Railroad), south-southeast of Napa. The junction has connected the railroads of the California Coast Ranges north of San Francisco Bay to the national rail network since completion of the Santa Rosa and Carquinez Railroad in 1888. The Adelante post office functioned from 1869 to 1871. The Napa Junction post office opened in 1875, was closed for a time in 1880, and closed permanently in 1933. British Rail Class 180
The British Rail Class 180 is a class of 14 diesel-hydraulic multiple-unit passenger trains manufactured by Alstom at its Washwood Heath factory in 2000/01 for First Great Western (FGW) . They are part of the Coradia 1000 family, along with the Class 175. All Class 180s are owned by Angel Trains. Operations of the fleet commenced with FGW during December 2001, being tasked with express commuter services that used its capability. However, the type suffered frequent service disruptions due to recurring technical problems, particularly in regards to its hydraulic transmission system. FGW ultimately decided to return all of its Class 180s to the lessor in favour of refurbished InterCity 125 sets; the last train leaving its service in 2009.
